What is Isometric Pixel Art?

2day is d 1st day of clas afta 3 weeks hols. i guess al of us r stil in hols mood. thts y d class is extremely quiet now. everything seems 2 b very new 4 me. tis is d 1st time i write blog although most of my fren had been askin me 2 write 4 ages. finally, im writtin it coz lecturer asked us 2 register ourselves so tht dey can actually mark our work from here.=D eunice has chosen id and er has chosen ad. from 2day onwards, 3 of us hav 2 walk 2 toa alone. it is not as fun as laz time. i mis d moment we fooled n laughed around when we were walkin 2 or from coll.

here r some of d findings tht i had done regarding isometric pixel art...
pixel art is a form of art created on a computer in digital form. images r created on the pixel level. In digital imaging, a pixel is the smallest piece of information in an image. Pixel art is commonly divided in 2 subcategories: isometric n non-isometric. The isometric kind is drawn in a near-isometric dimetric projection. This is commonly seen in games 2 provide a 3D view without using any real 3D. Technically, an isometric angle would be of 30 degrees from the horizontal, but this is avoided since the pixels created by a line drawing algorithm would not follow a neat pattern. Non-isometric pixel art is any pixel art that does not fall in the isometric category, such as views from the top, side, front, bottom or perspective views. These r also called Planometric views. Isometric Pixel Art (IPA) is a modern form of digital art that only recently has been accepted as a new art form. The 2D representation of a 3D object is fascinating 2many people. This is possibly because of the simplicity n amount of small details that can fit in2 a single IPA piece. It doesn't need that much brain power 2 figure out, yet it is pleasing to the eye. IPA can be compared 2 cartoons in many ways, as people like to look (watch) n accept the 2D art form as it is very simplistic and easy to follow.

The term pixel art was first published by Adele Goldberg n Robert Flegal of Xerox Palo Alto Research Center in 1982. d concept, 4 eg in Richard Shoup's SuperPaint system in 1972, also at Xerox PARC.

Some traditional art forms, 4 eg cross-stitch, mosaic n beadwork, bear some similarity to pixel art by constructing pictures out of small colored units analogous 2 d pixels of modern digital computing. A similar concept on a much bigger scale can be seen in the mass games. Pixel art was very often used in older computer n video console games as well as portable devices, 4 instance mobile devices that still have low resolution n den require a skilful use of space n memory. Sometimes pixel art is used 4 advertising too. On the Microsoft WIndows desktop icons r raster images of various sizes, d smaller of which r not necessarily direct scaling of the larger ones n could be considered pixel art whereas on the GNOME n KDE desktops, icons r represented primarily by SVG images, but v hand-optimised, pixel art PNG4 smaller sizes such as 16x16 and 24x24. Another use of pixel art on modern desktop computers is favicons. Laz but not least, pixel art has been used in the virtual world Citypixel as well among handheld devices such as the Nintendo DS n cell phones.
